Groucho Marx versus Karl Marx 2-0

Groucho Marx's sleeve-stitching beats his namesake Karl Marx's sleeve-stitching in both fun and, above all, usefulness. Sometimes they are even very stoic, such as the phrase: 'Before I speak, I have something important to say'.
Totally stoic! The idea is that it is a degree more distant to start making a serious speech (in an established context, with established expectations) than to just say something directly, pointing a finger. And that it is the latter that is more important.
Strange that Groucho's throwing over and over again is a surprise to many. Fortunately, usually a fun surprise.
